He was named a four-time MVC All Conference runner and two-time MVC All-Star. Anthony also ran indoor and outdoor track at UMass Lowell before transferring to Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is running the Boston Marathon in honor of his former high school coach Peter O’Sullivan, who passed away four years ago. Anthony remembers Peter as a great mentor during his running seasons. Amy Davidson
Concord, NH
Amy grew up in Sharon, MA, and then went to college at Boston University. Five years ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer which marked the beginning of a serious focus on health and fitness. Amy began enjoying sports - mostly outdoors - such as skiing, hiking, kayaking and power walking.  Athough, she ran occasionally, Amy had never really considered running on a regular basis.  Then, in the spring of 2008, she had a sudden inspiration when a friend ran the Boston Marathon at age 60. With the 2010 Marathon as her goal, Amy started with 5ks, and then got into triathlons. In fact, she'll be doing an Ironman 70.3 Timberman this August. Presently, she has a solo law practice specializing in working with children and families which has made it even more thrilling for her to be part of a charity team with its focus on kids’ fitness.
