- All ages as of July 11, 2010. Participants must be at least 10 years old to enter.

Athletes may only enter one (1) division.

Athletes must write in their event code on the space marked ‘Event #’ on the entry form.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or cancel divisions if there are an insufficient number of entrants. With the exception of the Brown & Black belt division, weight classes within each age division will be determined after the weigh-in.

Masters athletes may compete in either Masters divisions or the 17+ division, but not both. |

ELIGIBILITY |
To qualify for a region, an athlete must be ONE of the following:
- A full-time resident within the region for 30 days prior to first day of tryouts.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in the region.
- A registered member of a sport club in Massachusetts, for which you are entering. The club must be your exclusive “contact” with the sports. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not be a member of a non Massachusetts club.

FORMAT |
- The competition will be double elimination with a pool system.
- Each athlete is guaranteed a minimum of two (2) matches.
- All matches consist of one three minute period (except for men’s brown & black belt which consists of one four minute period).
Please note the Brown and Black belt division matches are one 5 minute period. |

RULES |
- All divisions are governed by I.J.F. rules.
- Arm locks are not permitted in any division (except for men’s brown & black belt).
- Chokes are not permitted in the age 8-12 division.

ENTRY FEE |
Entry fee: $30 |

AWARDS |
- All participants receive a Bay State Games T-shirt.

Medals are awarded to the top three in each division.
- Award jackets are presented to the gold medal winners in each division. |

Juniors & Masters: 9am – 9:45am
Seniors: 11am – 12pm
