DIVISIONS |
Junior (Rookie): Grades 4-5 (minimum age of 10)
Junior Novice (Intermediate): Grades 6–8
Intermediate (Intermediate Advanced): Grades 6-8 ***
Scholastic Novice (JV): Grades 9-12 ***
Scholastic (Varsity): Grades 9-12
Collegiate: Current college student (current school ID required at check in)
Open: Age 19 and older (Current college students are not eligible for this division)
* All grades as of the 2010-2011 academic year.
** All divisions are seperated by male and female.
*** Novice is for participants with limited tournament experience. Anyone who has won a medal or award at a prior event including Bay State Games is not eligible for Novice.

ELIGIBILITY |
An athlete must meet ONE of the following criteria:
- A full-time resident of Massachusetts for 30 days prior to first day of tryouts.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in Massachusetts.
- A registered member of a sport club in Massachusetts, for which you are entering. The club must be your exclusive “contact” with the sports. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not be a member of a non Massachusetts club.

RULES |
All athletes must bring ATA classification card to event. If you do not have ATA classification, please contact the Bay State Games office. |

EVENTS |
- 16 yard Singles Trap: 100 targets
- 16 yard Doubes Trap: 100 targets
|

ENTRY FEES |
$50 for first event
$50 for second event
Fee includes entry fee and target fee.
Please note that Pistol and Rifle Shooting are separate competitions that require filling out another application and paying the appropriate entry fee.

AWARDS |
- All participants receive an official Bay State Summer Games T-shirt.
-
Medals and Bay State Games jackets from New Balance are presented to the top three in each division.
Awards in each division will be distributed within 3 classes.
Classes will be determined after competition results are completed using the Lewis System for Collegiate and Open only. Scholastic will be done by division. There will also be an award for the overall winner in Scholastic, Collegiate and Open. |

QUALIFIERS |
There are no qualifiers for the trap competition. All athletes who register by the entry deadline will participate. |
| |
FINALS SCHEDULE |
Check in begins at 8am and first round begins at 9am for singles. For doubles, check in begins at noon and the first round starts at 1pm. |

ENTRY DEADLINE |
All mail-in applications should be received by Wednesday, June 8. Online registration is still open, and on-site registration will also be accepted at the meet. |
