Each year, the Bay State Games relies on the assistance of almost 2,000 volunteers to run the Bay State Summer and Winter Games. Volunteers range from officials, coaches and campus directors to score keepers, timers, and support staff to help with registration, merchandise sales, etc. The Games would not be possible without the support of volunteers like you.

Volunteers will be given the opportunity to work as important members of the Bay State Games team. The role played by these individuals is vital in keeping the events of the Summer Games on track and well organized. It is a great opportunity to gain experience for those looking to break into the sports industry or just a way to get in the game for the casual sports fan. In appreciation for their time and effort, volunteers receive the following amenities:

- Bay State Games jacket from New Balance
- Bay State Summer Games T-shirt
- Lunch and/or dinner

The Bay State Games will also work with schools and other community organizations to help volunteers fulfill service requirements.

Parents of athletes participating in the Summer Games always make great volunteers, as well. By joining in to the cause, you help to make the experience for your child even more memorable.
